Tidbit # 6

 Identify one way that you can implement a Mobile Device App in your desired career area/classroom.

I used to work for our College Marching Band ans we used the Remind app to stay in touch with our members in groups. We had 350 members to keep track of, so we communicated through the app with our groups. For example, when we traveled, we used 7 charter buses. Therefore, the Remind me app was a very convenient and effective way to keep in touch and get the messages to the groups in the other buses. The director could communicate commands to each group. It made it much easier to communicate with everyone that way. 

One Challenge would be if the app suddenly crashed. Is it a problem with your operating system, hardware, or other outside conditions. Connectivity could be another challenge to deal with, you also do not want an app that will drain your battery! Groups wishing to use apps such as Remind should conduct a test of the app in advance so that they can come up with a backup plan in the event something goes wrong. 

Why is it so important to know the policies and procedures of your school district.workplace regarding their use?  

In order to ensure that everyone complies with the law. Keeping up with policies and procedures can help ensure everyone is protected, as well as letting employees know where to turn for questions an grievance resolution options.
